At KKC De Loper, we believe that caring for, educating and raising children is a shared responsibility. Together with parents and carers, we build the future of our children – and of our society.

In our Child Centre, we offer a continuous path of development for children from 0 to 13 years old. This is done in close cooperation between pedagogical professionals, teachers, parents, carers, and the children themselves.

We believe in the power of diversity: our children together form a reflection of society.

What We Value

At our Child Centre, everything revolves around people. Children are given the chance to play, learn and explore. Professionals are encouraged to work from their passion. We provide a safe, warm and structured environment where every child can develop to their full potential.

We encourage children to learn, play and discover together. Listening to one another and engaging in conversation are at the heart of this – in all the languages spoken within our Child Centre. The Child Centre is the beating heart for the children of the neighbourhood.

Our pedagogical approach can be seen in:

  • The daily start of the day and daily routines.

  • A quiet moment in the middle of the day.

  • Working with themes, connected to the world of the young child.

We give children the space to discover their talents, in line with their age and development. This is done with the guidance of skilled and dedicated professionals.

Parents and carers are important partners to us.

They know their child best. That is why, in our conversations with parents and carers, we ask many questions – so we can really get to know each child. The cooperation between parents/carers and professionals takes place in a natural and open way.
