PO De Taalwijzer

From 20 October 2025 MIK & Spelenderwijs is proud to open a new preschool location (peuteropvang): PO De Taalwijzer. This location is located in Kindcentrum De Taalwijzer and offers a warm, stimulating environment for children aged 2 to 4.

Unique location
The site is located next to Vista College, where civic education (inburgeringsonderwijs) is offered. This provides opportunities for connection and cooperation with parents and care takers participating in the civic integration programme.

VVE location with rich language provision
PO De Taalwijzer is a recognised VVE location (Early childhood education). We offer a rich language offer that meets the developmental needs of young children. Language development is central to our pedagogical policy, with a strong focus on interaction, vocabulary and learning through play.

We look forward to making a great start together with parents, care takers and children at this new location!

Parents' committee

At MIK & Spelenderwijs, good quality childcare for your child is extremely important to us. We monitor and improve our quality together with you as a parent and/or educator. That is why we form a parents' committee at every MIK & Spelenderwijs location. Besides these local parent committees, there is also a Central Parents' Committee (COC) that has the right to advise on our policy. With a mandate from the local parent committees, the COC gives solicited and unsolicited advice.

Are you interested in joining the parents' committee?

Please mention this when registering or report to the location manager or pedagogical staff member(s) of your child's care location.
